For me, physiotherapy is helping people by improving their quality of life. My first real contact with physiotherapy was in Morocco. He was 18 years old. I participated in an international cooperation project of rehabilitation and integration for children with disabilities. A trip that changed me, made me grow both professionally and personally.
While studying a degree in physiotherapy at the University of Oviedo, my interest in the pelvic floor was awakened. And as soon as I finished I did the Master's degree specialized in Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions at the University of Valencia. There I was able to train in pelvic floor dysfunctions in women, men and infants, physiotherapy in oncological processes, sexology, lymphatic drainage, hypopressive abdominal gymnastics...
The pelvic floor is unknown to many people but it has a great influence on our quality of life. My goal is to make it visible in order to prevent and treat its dysfunctions. To do this, it is essential to learn to know and listen to our body. Thanks to my profession I can guide, provide information, diagnose the problem and accompany you during the recovery process.
Listening to my patients and understanding their situation is essential to be able to provide them with what they need with respect and affection.
Therefore, I do not stop training, to be able to give the best of myself to my patients, from whom I learn more every day and who help me to continue growing as a person and physiotherapist.
